Best of #WriteSpace Vol. 1: The Sheds

When we asked you to show us where you write we were almost praying there would be a few sheds. What’s better than a writing shed? Practically nothing.

And so allow me to present to you, my fellow humble tumblrs: The sheds!

This little beauty came to our attention by way of Laurel Snyder. Could this have been the inspiration for her wonderfully titled young reader’s novel Bigger than a Breadbox?

Peter Manseau, the author of the Jewish Book Award wining novel Songs For The Butcher’s Daughter, was the first person to send in a shed. And what a shed it is.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve got a serious case of shed envy. Kudos to Peter and Laurel for living the dream. Well, my dream anyway.

And keep on posting photos of where you sit down (or even stand up, ala our own Emily St. John Mandel) to work with words. Tag your place #writespace; we’ll be posting our favorites all weekend long!
